    PS3 On The Cutting Edge

    in: Uncategorized, gaming

The much anticipated release is pending for the newest in the PS3 lineup. I don’t really know how people are supposed to pick a system anymore. Just when I find one I love another is coming out that draws me in. The PlayStation 3 Edge has been put together by three first-party technology teams within Sony, the WWS Europe Advanced Technology Group, WWS America ICE team, and WWS America Tools and Technology group.

Marketing for the Edge system describes it as

a set of cutting edge technologies. Rather than an overarching engine, these teams have chosen to create specialized systems that demonstrate best practices of SPU and RSX utilization.

    Edge is described as

“a set of cutting edge technologies. Rather than an overarching engine, these teams have chosen to create specialized systems that demonstrate best practices of SPU and RSX utilization” .
It should be really interesting to see how this product and the marketing behind it unfold in the coming months.
