HP Deskjet F380 All-in-One Printer/Scanner/Copier

in: computers

I just bought the HP Deskject F380 because I wanted a second printer in my house for the purpose of connecting to my laptop. I use the laptop in my bedroom when I’m sitting with the littlest man trying to get him to fall asleep. For my purposes this is an incredible deal for $80 (Amazon.com price) and the ink cartridges are fairly inexpensive making it even more economical. The print quality is great for considering the price. Obviously, you get what you pay for. If you need very high resolution print you will want to invest in more expensive equipment.

You can’t beat the convenience the HP F380 offers over similar systems. For example to make a copy all you have to do is press the copy button on top. Other system require you to scan documents in order to make copies which can become time intensive when all you really want is a single quick copy. Like I said, for $80 this is great multi-purpose unit.

These are the features:

* Print/Scan/Copy with HP Real Life Technologies
* Scan with 1200 x x 2400 dpi Optical Resolution and 48-bit Color Depth
* Print and copy photos as 4 x 6 inch Borderless Prints or Up to 8.5 x 11 Inches
* Print Up to 20 ppm Black and 14 ppm Color
* 10.30 lbs (WxLxH) 9.25″ x 16.79″ x 12.00″

Technical Details

* Print Method: Inkjet
* Resolution: Up to 4800 x 1200 DPI (Color)
* Resolution: Up to 1200 dpi (Black)
* Maximum Duty Cycle: 1,000 Pages Per Month
* Print Speed: Up to 14 PPM (Color)
* Print Speed: Up to 20 PPM (Black)
* Special Features: Copying Capability
* Special Features: Scanning Capability
* Dimensions: 16.76″W x 10.22″D x 6.7″H
* Connectivity: USB
* Standard Paper Input: 100 Sheet Tray
* Paper Sizes Supported: Letter
* Paper Sizes Supported: Legal
* Paper Sizes Supported: Executive
* Paper Sizes Supported: A2

The set-up with incredibly easy & fast- a vast change over the previous printers I had gotten a few years ago.

Anyway, I’d recommend this if you’re budget is somewhat limited or you just want to use it for a second printer & scanner like I do that will also act as a copier.
