I just bought the HP Deskject F380 because I wanted a second printer in my house for the purpose of connecting to my laptop. I use the laptop in my bedroom when I’m sitting with the littlest man trying to get him to fall asleep. For my purposes this is an incredible deal for $80 (Amazon.com price) and the ink cartridges are fairly inexpensive making it even more economical. The print quality is great for considering the price. Obviously, you get what you pay for. If you need very high resolution print you will want to invest in more expensive equipment.
You can’t beat the convenience the HP F380 offers over similar systems. For example to make a copy all you have to do is press the copy button on top. Other system require you to scan documents in order to make copies which can become time intensive when all you really want is a single quick copy. Like I said, for $80 this is great multi-purpose unit.

Anyway, I’d recommend this if you’re budget is somewhat limited or you just want to use it for a second printer & scanner like I do that will also act as a copier.

I almost bought this printer but finally settled for Epson Stylus CX3900.
