VoiP Rocks!

Last fall we ditched our landline phone carrier and switched over to VoiP. At first I was skeptical about what to expect from our new phone carrier. No one in our area that we knew was using VoiP and given our sum what rural location we had obvious cause for concern. In the process up switching things over we also decided to upgrade our home phones and investigated various options including Nitsuko phones. Our previous phone system was about 5-7 years old and really not optimal for VoiP.

Suffice it to say switching to VoiP was hands down one of the best decisions we have ever made. For a low fee of $199.00 we purchased one year of unlimited calling. Considering our local phone service alone was costing $50-60.00 per month even with the added cost of high speed internet we are saving a ton of money. You simply can’t beat VoiP when you factor in all the bundled services like caller id, call blocking, voice mail, and directory assistance. Presently we have been using SunRocket for our VoiP service and will in all likelihood be renewing our annual contract based on our excellent experience with them thus far. Be sure to drop me a line if you have any questions!
