Digital cameras have come so far in the last few years. I've had my Canon PowerShot S400 for a little over 3 years now and it was a $500 camera back when we got it. I'll never buy another camera that takes AA batteries though after using this Canon with the Li-ion type. Lasts for 2 or 3 hours on a full charge and we've taken over 7000 pics with it. Sad to say though, that $97 cam has better specs now.
