Gears Of War

This is by far one of the best games for the 360!!! I’m an older, casual gamer. Gears really hit the sweet spot technically and from a playability standpoint. This is the most impressive console video game I have ever seen, period. Let me emphasize something here: If you’re looking for Halo, get Halo 3, 2, or 1. This isn’t Halo at all. While in Halo you can stand in the middle of a doorway and blast all who get between you and the next doorway, in GOW you can’t even do this in the very beginning of the game! The multi-player is also tons of fun. Not really about run and gunning but requires strategy and for your to flank your enemy to take them out efficiently. It lacks customizable options. Overall very solid game and well worth the money.
