My Dad moved last month to Tennessee for a new job. This job couldn’t have come at a better time and in a better place. His company in Detroit was threatening to make some drastic cutbacks at the same time this new job offer came up. Considering the job is for a major auto manufacturer and is in Tennessee it was a no brainer for him to take the job. You see my Dad grew up in Tennessee and planned on moving there when he retired in 3 years. Besides being able to watch Tennessee football in person the move came with tons of perks.
