Google penalizing websites.

There are a number of us in the blogosphere who have made money monetizing our websites. This is becoming an increasingly difficult proposition given recent penalties put in place by Google. Over the course of the last week or so countless websites have has their page rank drop dramatically overnight for reasons that are not yet clear. Some speculate that it is monetization of these sites through advertising that has resulted in these penalties. Until the reasons behind these changes does come to light it is important to think very carefully before putting any ad whether it is for wholesale fashion or software downloads up on your site. It could be the difference between a very nice page rank and a meaningless one.
