Ebay niche market.

I have always wanted to start a business on eBay but never seem to come up with the perfect product to promote. I think I finally have discovered a fairly overlooked niche market with real potential. It will require a bit of market research to be sure that there is not a good reason why more people have jumped into this market but I think I might be onto something. Not knowing anyone who does decent business on eBay I am a little leery to invest too much money off the bat. I know that it can be hard to turn a profit on eBay given the competition from established retail businesses and other competitors. This doesn’t keep me from wanting to give it a try should my research show a potential for this type of product. Do you know anyone doing well on eBay?
