Software for todays computers is nothing like what it was when I got my first PC. In computer years that would be about three centuries ago. Computers now come with software packages that give you everything you need to get maximum use, and in some cases confusion, from your computer. You can write, edit, publish, do financial reporting, create presentations and draw pictures, all with your PC. The days of having to go out and buy software to do all of these things is basically over. It will be interesting to see how computer manufactures try to up the anti for the next system to come out. Maybe each PC will come with its own interpreter to interpret the spanish, german, and french portions of their users manual to its buyer, now that would be really cool.
