Last week I finally broke down and upgraded our desktop computer. It didn’t seem like it but when I looked through my records I realized that this one is 6 years old. For the most part it does the job but we are now reaching the point where there simply isn’t enough memory. The new system is a Dell Vostra that I ordered through the small business side of Dell. The price seemed to good to pass up. I only hope it comes with everything I need to set it up in the same way as my old system. I hate trying to set something up only to realize I need patch cables and various connectors to make everything run smoothly. Our desk is situated in such a way that the cables that come with most of my equipment are never quite long enough. Maybe, just maybe, I will get lucky and the ones I have will work.
