Like hiding an Elephant

My wife and I just got a brand new computer with all the bells and whistles that make any computer worth having. Due to my wife’s recent increase in online employment opportunities we felt that a new system would further enhance her productivity. My mother on the other hand would think that it is a big waste of money and we should be spending it on other more “productive” things. So now my wife feels that hiding it is our best option but moving it isn’t. So the idea is to cover it with something like one would cover their cars with car covers only in this case it would be a computer cover. Not that I would say anything to my wife but I equate the whole thing to trying to hide an elephant in your living room. You can try and hide it all you want but it will still look like an elephant covered in whatever it is you choose to cover it in.
