There isn’t a married man I know who hasn’t found himself in the dog house from time to time. That is apparently where I have landed myself this week. The truth is that I kind of deserve it even though there isn’t anything specifically I have done. Let’s just say I think my wife has had it with my grumpy attitude and has decided to give it right back to me. Work has left me worn out and stressed out and I have been taking it out on everyone around me. In fact I liken my behavior to that of a moody 12 year old. I don’t think the solution to getting out of the dog house is as simple as flowers or giving her a pretty gold bangle to wear. It might be time for us to just take a little vacation and get away from it all. The problem with that is finding someone to watch the kids so I can put my plan into action.
