It looks like most of us will find ourselves with an extra $1200 or more dollar in May when rebate checks issued by the government are sent out. In my circle of friends everyone is talking about how they will spend this extra money. Some are going to take trips to places like one of those Branson resorts and others are buying new electronic equipment. We have decided to simply put our rebate money in the bank and save it toward purchasing a new home in the future. This isn’t quite as exciting as a new flat screen television or a week long vacation but it is definitely something to look forward to for our family.
