We are getting ready to sand and refinish the hardwood floors in our house. In order to do so we have had to move out most of our furniture. This meant everything including my office furniture. While the floors are being done my new “work station” has become our breakfast bar in the kitchen. This is an interesting set up to say the least. I kind of like the height of everything and surprisingly it hasn’t been too bad to sit at a bar stool instead of an office chair. What is kind of weird is have the toaster and blender within arms reach. I suppose for some people this would be ideal. There is something about the smell of burnt toast that just doesn’t do it for me.
