It is her room – completely!
Posted by The Inspector on December 2nd, 2008 filed in familyShould you ever step foot in our house please take note of the tasteful decorating throughout our home. If you look closely you will see an infinite variety of carefully chosen decorating items collected throughout our 18 years of marriage together. In the lower level you might find Moroccan decor. In the living room impressionist art. Upstairs there is an eclectic mix of everything we love from
Moroccan decor to arts and crafts style touches. Somehow it all works together to create a homey and lively place we call home. It is what seems like the perfect blending of our tastes that ends up being neither too feminine nor too manly. There is however one room that I would ask you not to look at because it reflects nothing of who I am. That would be the bedroom that my wife and I share. We are still in the process of redecorating it but I can already tell it is becoming a woman’s paradise. From the lilac paint to the floral bedspread everything about it says “girl”. My wife swears she is only choosing things that will make the bedroom more romantic but I see it as one step short of unicorns and fairies. Oh well, this is the price I pay for not having a house overrun with feminine touches.
