Television expands the vocabulary.

You might remember me commenting in previous posts that we are a television/cable free house. This is no longer true as about 3 months ago we got a satellite dish. Since that time we have been hearing the oddest things come out of our toddler’s mouth. For example we frequently hear him saying we need to get “Geico” or a “Bow Flex”. For the most part the things he says are pretty funny. I am just waiting for the day when we hear something a little more odd like a comment about vaginal dryness or birth control products. I will never understand why some of these commercials are on the television during family viewing hours but they are. At least he isn’t yet asking us to explain what some of them mean.
