Budding engineer?

As a parent we all sometimes daydream about what our children will be like when they get older. Some parents see actresses or athletes in the future. I have never been one of those parents who wants fame for their children. All I want is for my kids to be happy and productive citizens. I do however suspect that my older son is going to be either an engineer or a scientist. He is forever taking electronic things apart trying to salvage parts to build things with. He has amassed a collection of KVM switch, switches, circuits, and other things that he is convinced will help him build something incredible. For several weeks he has been trying to build a time travel machine. It is really neat to watch how his young mind works and how determined he his to reach his goal. I only hope his determined spirit is something that sticks with him no matter what he becomes in the future.
