Tech for little people?

I was wondering if anyone has bought a Leapfrog Leapster for their children? If you have, did they like it and played with it?

I have been looking at these for my 2 almost 3 year old and really want to get him one for his birthday or Christmas, but haven’t chatted with anyone who has one. Walmart wants $49.99 for a new one and Ebay has some gently used ones for under $20.00. I know that I will go the Ebay way to save money.
