Work station.

This is the second year that we have been home schooling our older son. It has been a phenomenal experience for our entire family. The first year we were a little disorganized but this year is a different story. For Christmas I am hoping to give my wife the gift of a customized work station for school. I have been looking for an L shaped desk and need a good light fixture. I am then planning on building her a couple of book shelves that fit our space. We have been using the dining room table but it isn’t really the right height for our son to work at comfortably. I would also like to see a designated area for school rather than everything being spread all over the house. I am just not sure how to actually have this be a surprise since I will have to physically build stuff while my family is at home.
