Cheap workstation.
Posted by The Inspector on December 21st, 2009 filed in UncategorizedFor a while we have been looking a workstation that would accommodate all of our computers. Currently we have two laptops and a desktop computer that we use on a regular basis. Because our son is home schooled computers are an integral part of our day. It is also important that we be able to have a couple of computers side-by-side because of this. I haven’t been able to find a workstation that really suited our needs or gave us the space to spread out that we need. Finally I found an idea for a cheap workstation on Instructables.com. The workstation is essentially a cheap door mounted to the wall using braces and a bracket. For about $25.00 we have a sturdy workspace that accommodates our needs. I like the space so much I am now going to extend it across the length of the room using a second door that I cut to fit the remaining space. This will give us tons of room to grow into which will be really good considering our younger son will start cyber pre-school next year!
