Returning to school.

Since starting my job about a year and a half ago I have come to several conclusions. The first conclusion is that my job is a very thankless one. I know many people have jobs that are miserable. I cannot classify mine as miserable but it is trying.

I have spent many years of my life in school and really thought when I finished my Master’s that I was done with school forever. I now realize that I really should have gotten a different type of degree. This had led me to consider returning to school once again.

The thing that kept me from pursuing a field that I am confident I would find rewarding is the fact that I did not want to take the GMAT. At the time when I went to school the only way to study for the GMAT was to sit down with a study guide. I am just not the type of person that learns well from a text. I really need a more hands on learning environment. Thankfully there are now ways to take GMAT prep courses online. This sounds like an ideal way for students like myself to learn what they need to prepare for the GMAT. There are not only live classes but apparently coursework that conforms to the way each student learns. It would be nice to know that I wouldn’t have to force myself to pour through some dry textbook in order to learn what I need to know to succeed at the GMAT. There are still many things I need to investigate before plunging back into returning to school but I am encouraged to know tools exist to enable me to achieve my goals.
