Relic Hunter

So my research into metal detecting has piqued another interest that I didn’t really think about. Since my last entry I have been looking into and watching some videos about people hunting relics. This is where your research skills come in handy as most relic hunters spend more time researching the area to hunt than actually hunting that area. My mother in law lives in a small rural township that had a lot of small communities w/i it that have since vanished. She has lived in this community all of her life and continues to keep connections from the time of her mother. She remembers several areas that were small saw mills where people lived and milled wood. When the summer comes I think this would be fun place to shoot coins and dig for relics.
