Two car house again.

This week we were finally able to pick up our new car. This is always a fun family event. The kids absolutely love the idea of getting anything new and a car is an especially big deal for them. I think they thought we were never going to bring it home but it took a little while for us to find the right car insurance. The car is a one year lease vehicle and there were special things that we wanted to make sure to have on the policy. After having recently been through a serious accident I have a different point of view on what exactly you need to have insurance coverage for. Now that we have two cars life is so much less complicated. We no longer have to juggle schedules and appointments which is really nice. It is also a real joy to have a new car even if it is only for one year. We intend to fully enjoy the car while we have it and know that after a year is up we will not be replacing it with a new vehicle. This car is a special one year perk from my father’s job and he retires next year. After this year we will have to return to reality and our very modest automobile budget.
