What is it about women that makes them need to have conversation at the oddest times? My wife is not much of a talker during the day. She is a thinker and like to have her mind actively pondering the world around her. The problem is that she waits until we are in bed to talk and talk. It is not that I don’t want to talk to her but must it always begin to occur at 11:00 at night? It must have something to do with feeling like she has a captive audience or that I will focus on what she is saying because there is nothing to distract me. All I really want to do at that hour is to sleep. I don’t want to discuss earth ovens or homemade grooming products. I just want a deep relationship with my pillow.
