Busy summer.

This summer’s calender is filling up very quickly. I can’t believe how fast it went from being a blank slate to booked solid. We love to be active and out in the great outdoors. Our children are not couch potatoes and want to be kept busy. Our hope is that, by teaching them health habits now, that they never have to worry about going on a quick weight loss diet when they get older. We want them to see hiking, camping, gardening, and being physically active as a way of life and not a chore. I can’t tell you the number of people we know who are raising the next generation of couch warmer’s. These will be the people who only connect with the world via their television or computer. I remember my summer’s being just full of good fun and that is what I want my children to remember. I don’t look back on my childhood and think of all the good times I spent in front of the television.
