Old and happy man.

This week I was fortunate to celebrate a milestone birthday. I consider myself fortunate because I realize that I could very easily not be here to celebrate this birthday. Just 4 months ago I was in a very serious accident that made me realize how precious life is. This was a milestone birthday because I turned 40 years old. This week I will also celebrate my 19th wedding anniversary. I will have spent almost half of my life as a married man. That is an accomplishment in this world. I have two wonderful and healthy children and a life that I feel lucky to have. There are so many people in my circle that are coping with issues that make me remember on a daily basis how blessed I am to be living the life I am. My birthday was completely uneventful and quiet and nonetheless wonderful because I am here and healthy.
