I am a farmer.

Over the last year we have developed a number of new interests. Individually they are very different but when looked at collectively they form a much bigger picture of our lives. The realization hit us that the lifestyle that we are striving towards very closely mimics that of a large scale farmer albeit on a much much smaller level. This week I stumbled across the term “biointensive micro-farm” and realized that this very adequately describes our daily life and the direction to which it is headed. As much as we would like to live on a farm in the country it isn’t going to happen any time soon. Therefore we are making the best life possible right where we are and that is slowly turning into a teeny tiny little farm.
