Not packed yet?

Being prepared is something that my wife prides herself on. I can’t remember a single event or trip that she has ever waited until the last minute to pack for. She is one of those people that you can count on having considered every possible event and made preparations for it. You can understand my confusion when I realized that there is not a single bag that has been packed in preparation for our trip. I would have taken a bet that by this time she would have carefully considered the weather reports and have already chosen the perfect attire from all of her various women’s apparel. This doesn’t bother me in the slightest but just has me wondering. I can typically judge her outlook on a trip by the manner in which she packs. I can begin to guess why she hasn’t begun packing already. I know that she is beyond excited about this trip. Maybe she is just not worrying because she really only has to pack for herself and not for the entire family?
