Waiting…

No one likes waiting. I am no exception to this rule. But we have to wait and that is just life. Tonight I had an appointment for routine work to be done to our car. Nothing major and nothing time consuming. I figured that at the worst I would be there 30 minutes. I went prepared to read a great deal of old magazines and watch a television with the volume turned off. This is my typical experience when waiting in the garage. I was really surprised to find a clean waiting area with a new television that I could hear and new magazines. There were new chairs, fresh coffee, and free cookies. This waiting room was so pleasant that I could have waited there all day if I had to. I wouldn’t have even cared if the only thing to read was advertising about buying hgh spray here or tanning products. The chairs were comfy and not covered in the typical layer of grease you find in a garage waiting area. Sadly, it only took them 20 minutes to complete the work on my car. I find myself wishing they had slowed down just a bit. I really wanted to finish that television show and have another cookie.
