Half day…

Today I am going to take a half day off from work. The weather isn’t that great and I don’t have any big plans but I just need to get out of the office. Everyone at work is absolutely miserable and their attitude is like a contagious disease. It is really hard to be positive when everyone around you is mumbling and grumbling about finding a different job or counting the days until retirement. I decided to just make a short week of it and leave them to their miserable state. Hopefully, everyone will take a deep breath over the weekend and come back at least slightly happier. The good thing is that next week is a short week for everyone and that should lift the mood a little bit.
