Thankful…

Thanksgiving is probably my favorite holiday of the year. I think this is because the focus of this holiday is simple. This holiday simply reminds us to be thankful for what we have been given. We aren’t expected to show this with gifts but merely with a sentiment in our hearts. We try to stress this value to our children throughout the year but especially around the holidays. We memorialize our special holidays with my Canon camera each year. My children love to look back at the photos we take of special visits with family members that we don’t get to see very often. We try very hard to get pictures of everyone enjoying this special family time together. This year we are especially thankful that we are all here once again to spend time together. I learned the hard way earlier this year that you just never know when that gift might be taken from you.
