Encouraging fitness.

My wife and I have been working out on a pretty consistent basis for the last few weeks. We have been trying to encourage each other to spend time each day on the treadmill. Our plan is to now encourage our older son to do the same. He is generally in good shape but tends to gain a little weight during the winter. I believe it is important to encourage healthy habits now so that he won’t need to worry about needing the best slimming pill later in life. We are taking our turns on the treadmill and then telling him it is time for his turn. We don’t set a speed or duration that he needs to stay on the treadmill but simply encourage him to go until he is tired. My thought is that as time progresses it will take him longer and longer to become tired. I hope that in the process he starts to realize how good exercise can make you feel. I know that I feel great about myself when I know that I have put in a nice long workout.
