Plots and plans.

Each night it seems like I find my wife with her face buried in a gardening book. Although it feels like our gardening season only just ended I realize that now is the time to plan. We are keenly interested in expanding our garden and increasing the amount of food we grow next year. We are doubling our backyard gardening space next year. I have already built the raised beds that will allow for this. In addition we have planted several bushes and plants that will provide food for years to come. These include a peach tree, strawberry bed, rhubarb bed, grape vines, walking onions, honey berry bushes, and mushrooms. In the spring we will add both red currant and gooseberry bushes. What I have to chuckle about is that it seems like each and every day my wife has drawn up a new schematic of what will be planted in each space. I understand planning but does it really need to be quite this intense?
