Roku.

We have had a Roku system for about a month or so. I have to admit I was bit skeptical about exactly what it could do for us that our Wii could not do in terms of streaming programing from the net. After having used it for a month I am pleased to say I think it is an awesome device. We subscribe to Netflix and have loved it. After paying an arm and leg for satellite television it was refreshing to feel like we were really getting something for our money with Netflix. The Roku system expands our viewing options well beyond Netflix for little to no cost. We are currently also giving Hulu Plus a one week trial to determine if it has any capabilities beyond what is offered by Netflix for the same price point. As we are only in our first day of the Hulu trial I don’t feel I can comment quite yet on the service. Even if we kept both services our total out of pocket cost would be less than half of what we were spending on Directv.
