The things I have to do.

When my wife asked for chickens a few months ago I realized there might be issues. I didn’t expect that we would have problems with a rooster because we were getting all hens. Over the last couple of weeks I have become suspicious that one of our chickens is a he and not a she. Of our four chickens this one is the only one that is a different breed. It didn’t become clear to us that he might be a she because we have nothing to compare him or her to. Now that this chicken is 12 weeks old it is pretty clear that it is not a female. He is huge and looks exactly like pictures we looked at online of other roosters of this breed. I am now left with trying to figure out what we are going to do with this rooster because he is showing aggressive behavior and we just can’t have that.
