So sleepy…

I can’t recall a Christmas where I have been so tired by the end of the day. I am not necessarily complaining because our Christmas was just wonderful. We are truly blessed to have such happy and healthy children and a loving family to spend it with. The days just seem so long when you are running here and there but I am glad we are able to be running like this. We have friend’s who are in the midst of a serious battle with cancer and haven’t gotten to spend the holidays anywhere except the hospital. Their youngest son is fighting for his life and is just three years old. Whenever I look in the faces of my children I am reminded that no matter how tired I might be that it in no way compares to what this family is dealing with. I am glad my children wake me up far too early on Christmas morning and stay away far too late on Christmas Eve. They are healthy and full of life and that is a wonderful, wonderful thing.
