Odd jobs…
Posted by The Inspector on December 27th, 2010 filed in UncategorizedI am a city kid and have never spent much time in the country. My wife on the other hand is a farm girl. She has never made much of a fuss about missing living in the county. I have begun to realize that she really does long to live on a farm. Over the last year she has slowly built our home and yard into a small urban farm. This has created for me a variety of jobs that I never thought I would find myself doing. For example, I have built compost tumblers and rain collection systems. This then led to building a chicken coop and getting chickens. Tonight I will be helping my wife clip the wings of our chickens because apparently they are hatching a plan to escape. Things I never thought this city boy would be doing…
