A long weekend.

Over the last year I have used very little if any vacation time. To be honest my work load tends to be so overwhelming that taking time off is a problem. Not being at work means that I get behind and have to work twice as hard to catch up. I finally decided the time had come for me to take a couple of days off. Today is my second day in a row of doing absolutely nothing. It feels great! I laid in bed until almost ten o’clock for the last two day and enjoyed every minute. Laying in bed is not something I get to in the course of my regular schedule. There always seems to be something going on each day of the week that requires me to be up and moving at an early hour. Our weather here is so miserable today that there just hasn’t been an overwhelming reason for me to be doing anything indoors or out. I would much rather be off in when the weather is nicer but I also appreciate the fact that warm weather means projects that need completing. A true vacation day seems to be attainable only when the weather nears zero or colder in my world.
