Summer plans.

Last summer I seemed to have more projects than I had time to complete them. By the end of fall I had just about everything complete. We built raised garden beds, compost bins and tumblers, a rain collection system, and a chicken coop. I am looking forward to significantly less in terms of building projects this summer. I do have one large scale project that I want to complete for my wife. She has wanted an outdoor oven for a while but has never really asked for one. She bakes a tremendous amount of bread and is really incredible at it. I know that an outdoor oven would add an entirely new level of skill to her bread baking abilities. It would also be really nice to be able to make pizza and other meals in during the hot summer months without having to heat up the house cooking inside. I am in the process of collecting building ideas and a list of supplies we will need. I am hoping to get started as soon as the ground thaws. It is likely going to be an ongoing project that will need to be built in stages but I hope to have it done this summer.
