A year later….

On this day last year I was in a situation that I never thought I would find myself in. That situation was being trapped in my car and unconscious while waiting for the rescue squad to cut me out of my car. My wife was home waiting for me with dinner on the table. Homemade pizza- a Friday night tradition in our house. It grew later and later and she began to worry… She got a call to get to the hospital…quickly. It was a horrible night for us all. One that has made us rethink our lives and the way that we make our choices. As I sat enjoying my Friday night dinner of homemade pizza with my family I can only hope the kid decide to text and drive has made new choices in his life as well because he almost took mine.
