Finally finished…

Last year I started to paint our living room ceiling. Then I was hit by a car and the world stopped for a bit of time. For the last year we have looked at a splotched ceiling with areas that still needed many coats of paint. Last weekend I embarked on the task of finishing what I started. Our ceiling is now completely white and the remains of the cigarette smoke left by the last owner are now gone. Tomorrow I will begin putting down the molding on the floor that was planned for last year. Our floor have needed this for a very long time but we didn’t want to put it down until the rest of the rooms were done. Tomorrow I reclaim time in a sense and pick up where I left off exactly one year ago. It might sound silly but until you loose time due to the actions of someone else you cannot appreciate how it feels to be stopped in your tracks.
