Bigfoot fascination..

My son’s have a new fascination with Bigfoot. You would think that at a young age the notion of Bigfoot would scare them just a little bit but it doesn’t seem to. They have spent every evening this week pulling up Bigfoot documentaries on Netflix and watching them with glee. I remember watching movies about Bigfoot and Sasquatch as a child but they always left me a tad unnerved. The thought that a manlike creature was lurking in the woods just seemed spooky. Maybe this was because we lived in a rural location. The possibility that Bigfoot was looking in my bedroom window was more of a reality for me than it probably is for my urban children. I will be interested to see if they consider Bigfoot at all when we go camping this summer. The area where we camp is fairly isolated and happens to be along what is called the “Bigfoot trail” in our neck of the woods. This trail is really just a ploy by local businesses to drawn tourists but my children are oblivious to that fact.
