Sick puppy…

This has not been a good week for the pet’s of the people in my life. Our neighbor told me this morning that she had to have her sweet old dog put to sleep this week. Her dog had not been doing well for a long time but that didn’t make it any easier on her. She is pretty broken up about it. My friend recently got a puppy that is a few months old. They absolutely love this puppy and have pampered him in every way imaginable. Somehow the little bugger found some mouse poison they had long ago put out when they bought their house. The puppy ate the poison and has been very sick ever since. The vet is doing everything he can to save him but the little fellow has been bleeding quite a bit. My friend feels terrible because she thought she got everything prepared for this puppy but somehow this mouse poison escaped her sight. I feel horrible for her entire family.
