Penalities…

Our oldest son was caught lying to us this week. He has never lied to us in the past which made this a bit of a huge deal. In response to his lying we decided to invoke a fairly stiff punishment given the proportion of the lies he had been telling. For the next month or two there will be absolutely no television service in our house. He can stare at the television and tv stand all he wants but nothing will happen. We put our television service in suspension for at least a month. If his attitude does not improve the service will not be reinstated. Hopefully, he will learn that it is better to be honest than dishonest because the punishment is much harsher when you don’t tell the truth.
