Just waiting…

Half of our garden has now been planted. This is a great feeling because it seems as though we are finally on our way to growing some food. The weather has been downright sucktastic and we have been behind the ball on getting stuff in the ground. By next week we should be able to plant the other half of our garden provided it doesn’t rain too much in the coming days. I don’t remember such a wet and sloppy spring season in such a long time. I am so concerned for those who farm for a living given the ground conditions around the country this year. I feel as though we are just waiting to see if Mother Nature keeps hurling stuff at us or if the season will turn around. I can only imagine what it must be like to be staring out at your fields watching money be washed away in the rain.
