Family time…

Holidays are always a juggling act in our house. We have people on both sides of our family that travel into town to visit us each holiday. The problem is that most of the time they are only here for a couple of days on the same days. This makes it hard to see everyone as much as we would like to. It would be simpler if we could get everyone to come for a gathering at the same time but this has proven to be quite awkward in the past. So, we continue to have short visits with each and hope that no one walks away feeling hurt. We used to be the people travelling into town to visit and know how irritating it can be to drive hundreds of miles to visit only to have people be tied up with other plans.
