Camping exhaustion…

Last weekend we went camping for about 4 days. This is an activity that our entire family enjoys and looks forward to. The weather was horrifically hot on this particular trip. The heat really saps the energy right out of you. There were a couple of days where we had to go somewhere cool for a few hours because the heat was so intense. What was weird is that we were actually cold a couple of nights. It is funny how the day can be so hot and the nights so cool. The problem with camping is that we are always exhausted for about a week afterwards. This is particularly true after our last trip. I cannot shake the tired feeling and want a nap even after having slept all night. I think it is because we sleep so poorly while camping. It is funny that despite the exhaustion we still love to go camping.
