Career choices…
Posted by The Inspector on September 2nd, 2011 filed in UncategorizedOur older son is reaching the age where he is starting to talk about what he wants to be when he grows up. There are days when he talks about being a farmer. I think farming is a fine profession. I also wouldn’t care if he decided to look into Case Management Manager Jobs later in life. We hope that our children will go to college when they grow up but this is not something that we are going to push on them. I think too many kids are told from a young age exactly what is expected of them by their parents when they are adults and that this sets them up for failure. I want my children to be productive adults but also feel they need to experience the world and make decisions for themselves. As long as they are happy and able to support themselves I will be pleased with whatever they become in life.
