Chores…

One of the things we have been working with our oldest son on is daily living skills. He could easily go about his daily activities without ever having picked up after himself once and not be bothered by this. He is simply unaware of how important taking care of your living space is. For last month or so he has had a schedule of chores that he is expected to complete each day. This might include cleaning our single bowl undermount sink or vacuuming the rugs in the house. I am hoping that if he sees how many little things there are in a home that need to be routinely cleaned that he will start to get the picture about how important it is for everyone in the home to do their part to keep it clean.
